Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something. Plato
I'm not sure about whether I'm wise or a fool, probably too young to be determinately either. But I think that in the long run, I'm okay with being a giddy fool for life, and trying to be wise about what matters. It's a process.

happiness comes with snow.

Virginia usually doesn’t get snow. But the past week, we’ve been getting a ton of it. These past few days have been absolutely lovely, even though I’m completely the opposite of who I usually try to be— I’ve been giddily dancing in the snow at the first chances I get, I’m delighting in little pleasures, and I am completely unconsumed by work.

One of those little pleasures has been discovering a new show by the same writer as my favorite series, the West Wing— I’m now watching Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. I love it— it’s definitely not West Wing, but it’s the first time I’ve seen Sorkin do some romances. And the result is me giddily exclaiming at the character’s actions while my sleep schedule is still screwed up from my cold.

So basically, even though the snow ruined a good deal of my plans, the weekend is won anyway.
